Think in Systems is a publication by Abhijeet Batsa about understanding complex problems through systems thinking.
The central idea is simple:
Complex problems rarely exist in isolation.
A visible problem is often an outcome produced by relationships between people, processes, information, technology, incentives, dependencies and constraints.
Instead of treating symptoms individually, Think in Systems focuses on understanding the system producing the outcome.

The Think in Systems approach
A useful starting model is:
Problem → System → Constraint → Intervention → Outcome
We start by understanding the problem.
Then we map the system behind it.
Next, we identify the constraint that is limiting the outcome.
Only then do we decide what to change.
The goal is not to change everything.
The goal is to understand what matters.
